SEOUL – Samsung electronics isn’t impress with Apple’s newest iPad that the company introduced to the world on March 7. To prove that its Galaxy tablet is far superior to the new iPad, the S. Korean company compared features between the two tablets and literally turned the new iPad into dust.

For many fans, the introduction of the new iPad was disappointing as Apple’s newest tablet didn’t really offer a lot of new innovations or major improvements over the iPad 2.

Although the new ‘Retina’ screen is praised, the rest of the new iPad configurations, that still doesn’t have an official name, doesn’t live up to all the hype that’s been flooding the internet several months before it was introduced.

Samsung’s newest tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1, which was introduced in February does support major upgrades and technological advances that may well put the new iPad on the back burner.

According to Samsung, writing on the Galaxy Note is as quick as writing on paper because the tablet recognizes several pressure points, while the iPad recognizes only one.

Samsung states that one other feature that puts its newest tablet well above the new iPad is the ability to have two applications open at the same time and put them next to each other on the screen, allowing users to work on both programs simultaneously.

Finally, the new Galaxy is lighter and thinner than the new iPad and has a USB and IR port to boast.
