Expecting Nonuplets Woman Lied

MEXICO CITY – Mexican authorities have gone on record saying that Karla Vanessa Perez, who claimed she was expecting nine babies, lied and that the ‘pregnancy tale’ is phoney.

Making matters worse is the fact that Perez isn’t expecting at all, not even one child, according to investigators.

The story about Perez expecting nonuplets came about just a few days ago when a Mexican news agency reported the story and showed an ultrasound image allegedly belonging to Perez, that indicates nine babies.

The 32 year old woman had said she was expecting nine babies after having undergone fertility treatments and that the babies would be born May 20th.

Mexican authorities claim they have conducted a thorough investigation of Perez and her ‘news’ is absolutely false.

Furthermore, Perez had said during an earlier interview she already had triplets. That too, authorities say is a blatant lie.

Perez, who is obese, does have three children but not triplets. They are 4, 12 and 15 years old, Mexican authorities said.

No word on Perez possibly being prosecuted for deceit and falsification of information.
