NEW YORK – The giant soft drink company Pepsi Co has signed an agreement with Michael Jackson’s estate controller to use one of the deceased singer’s images for their next world wide campaign.

Pepsi is launching a new world wide soft drink campaign that will first be seen in the United States and China, followed by 25 additional countries.

The first part of the campaign are the release of cola cans with an image of Michael Jackson on them and will be advertised via TV commercials.

The cans are engraved with codes that consumers can enter into to their smartphones to download remixed songs of Jackson’s album “Bad”, which turns 25 years old this year.

In China the campaign will go hand in hand with a contest where consumers can win tickets to see the show ‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour’ that is being hosted by Circque Du Soleil.
