HOLLYWOOD – Tattoo queen Kat von D is being sued by her insurance company for $US900,000.

The suit is based on ‘fraud’. The insurance company claims that the fire that destroyed the reality star’s home in 2010 was “self set” because Kat was irresponsible when using an excessive amount of candles throughout her house.

If the insurance company can prove that Kat was indeed responsible for the fire, the actress of her own reality TV show, will have to cough up and pay back $US900,000, the settlement amount she received from the insurance carrier after her house burned down.

The Los Angeles ink-star whose real name is “Katherine von Drachenberg” posted an angry message on Twitter in response to the insurance company’s accusation.

“I didn’t burn down my own house! I was touring when the fire broke out and thus I didn’t kill my own cat either.”

Reportedly, Kat’s cat died in the fire that completely destroyed her home.
