Lohan Blames Crash On Failing Brakes

MALIBU – Lindsay Lohan, who crashed her rented Porsche while driving on PCH in Los Angeles on Friday, says the accident happened because the car’s brakes weren’t working at that time.

The Porsche, which was totaled during the crash, rear-ended a big rig on one of Southern California’s most scenic routes that winds along the Pacific coast.

At first, Lohan, who made it out of the accident with just a few cuts and bruises, said that the truck ‘cut into her lane’ and that caused her to collide with the big rig.

The truck driver however strongly denies the claim by the actress and says he has witnesses who can prove that what Lohan is saying isn’t true.

Lohan reportedly changed her story afterwards saying that the Porsche’s brakes didn’t work, and that caused her to slam into the truck.

Interestingly enough, the company that rented the Porsche to Lohan claims they told the 25 year old that brand new brakes had been installed in the vehicle just two days prior to the crash.

After the crash Lohan was taken to a nearby hospital where she was given first aid treatment for her injuries.

LiLo said after being released from the hospital that she’s lucky she only sustained minor injuries.
