Amy Winehouse Still Gets Text Messages

LONDON – Allegedly deceased singer Amy Winehouse still gets text messages from her dad Mitch on a regular basis, asking her if she wants to come home.

“I still text her,” says Mitch. “But she isn’t coming home anymore. I have to learn to live with that.”

Mitch Winehouse admits he still gets very emotional when he thinks about the apple of his eye. He says that cleaning up her apartment in London caused him a lot of sadness and sorrow.

“The worst was cleaning out her closet. She loved sweaters and she had drawer full of them. It broke my heart when I saw that.”

Mitch says that he still has not distributed his daughter’s ashes.

“I saved it. One day I will spread out her ashes together with those of my mother Cynthia. Then they will always be together.”

Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the tender age of just 27. She had been struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse and had told a friend just days before she was found dead how much she wanted to be sober.
