Tom Keeps His Fortune

HOLLYWOOD – By now the divorce of TomKat (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes) is somewhat ‘old’ news, except for the juice part about how much Katie is ‘taking’ from the ‘mission impossible’ actor’s fortune.

It was previously thought that Holmes and Cruise had a pre-nup that spelled out that the mother of Suri would get $US3 million per year for every year she was married to Tom, not to exceed $US33 million.

Now sources say ‘that’s false!’.

Apparently the Scientologist had all his assets protected with a solid pre-marital contract that sees to it that Holmes gets ‘nothing’ of everything he owned at the time they got married and what he accumulated during the marriage.

Allegedly the contract stipulates Katie can only claim the assets she contributed at the time and during the course of the marriage and nothing else.

A source at TMZ seems to indicate that this arrangement, if correct, doesn’t seem to bother Holmes one bit saying: “Katie is not that kind of woman. She loves to work. It’s not about the money, she earns enough herself”.

News is however, that Katie Holmes does want sole custody of their daughter Suri. If she can pull that of, Tom will almost certainly pay handsome child support premiums ever month.
