Amy’s Text Message Drove Blake To Overdose

LONDON – Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s former husband, was rushed to a hospital in London after overdosing on heroine, where he is currently held in a medically induced coma.

Now Blake’s mother has come forth saying that a text message he received from Amy Winhouse, who died one year ago, is what drove him to doing drugs again.

Blake had only been out of prison for two weeks from serving a 12 month sentence for robbery and possession of a fake gun when he overdosed on heroine.

His mother says that Blake used an old cell-phone after he was released from prison. Apparently that phone still had a text message stored on it belonging to Amy Winehouse.

Amy’s SMS apparently asked Blake if she could be the godmother to his now 15 months old son.

According to Blake’s mom, that message distraught Blake so much he began drinking and drugging again. She is convinced the memories of Amy Winehouse that surfaced after reading her text message, made her son wanting to commit suicide.

Said Blake’s mom Georgette:

“By reading those message, my son began to mourn again for Amy. I am afraid he tried to commit suicide.”

Blake, who has had a long time addiction with drugs, allegedly just last week told his partner, Ms. Aspin, the mother of his child, how very much he missed Amy.

Doctors are hopeful that Blake may pull through and want to keep him one more week in induced coma.
