“People who think they are gay are just confused,” the megastar allegedly said.

That was enough of a statement to get the gay community to respond in uproar, demanding Wonder apologizes for his expression.

The talk came about when Stevie Wonder addressed the ‘gay nature’ of singer Frank Ocean.

“Gay people confuse bonding with love. I am not saying that all gay people are confused, some people prefer a partner of the same sex but that’s their business.”

Yesterday, the twenty-two Grammy Awards winner apologized for his statement.

“I am sorry that my words about homosexual love came over wrongly. No one has been a greater advocate for the power of love in this world than me, including my personal life and my music. Love is love, be it between a man and a woman, a woman and a woman or a man and a man.”

Stevie Wonder added that the world needs less hate and more love.

“What I am not confused about is that the world needs more love and less hate,” Wonder said and added that the world could also use less judgement.

“… less prejudices and intolerance and more unity, peace and understanding. Period!”

The gay community did not respond to Stevie Wonder’s apology.
