Julio Iglesias Estate Burns Down

MADRID – A fire storm near Marbella, Spain burned down the estate of world renowned singer Julio Iglesias.

Iglesias estate, located in Ojen, went up in flames during the forest fires in that region. The singer’s dog died in the fire as well.

The Latin singer’s ‘Las Cuatro Lunas’ (the four moons) estate, where he lives with his wife, Dutch model, Miranda Rijnsburger, was also badly damaged in the fire.

Julio Iglesias, his wife and their five children were at the Dominican Republic when the fire broke out.

“The news about the fire was the worst news I ever got. That house was the realization of a dream. I am devastated,” Iglesias said.

Iglesias (68) said he and his family cried for two days after they heard the unsettling news. Still the singer says he can rebuild and is grateful for that.

“Life has given me many wonderful chances and I can rebuild what got destroyed. Many families do not have that chance.”
