Kate Middleton Clothing Blunder Once Again

LONDON – The hot newsflash about Kate Middleton being topless that flooded media airwaves 10 days ago has barely simmered down a bit and Oops!, the Duchess of Cambridge makes another ‘boo-boo’.

This time however it’s not the lack of clothing that got Kate in trouble but the wrong official dress that put her on the burner.

Kate Middleton and her husband William were invited to an official diner at the Solomon Islands. Both the Prince and his charming wife decided to attend the evening wearing traditional Islanders’ clothing.

That’s when things went badly wrong for Kate. She showed up in a traditional dress alright; the only problem was, she had on the national outfit worn at the Cook Islands, located more than 2,800 miles away from the Solomon Islands.

Luckily for Kate, she wasn’t alone in her screw up. Her husband Will, had the wrong traditional outfit on as well. Like Kate, he wore the clothes belonging to the Cook Islands.

The mishap took place on September 16 when Kate and Will were guests at the Solomon Islands and received numerous gifts, including a dress for Kate and a shirt for Will made by a designer from the Cook Islands.

Kate and Will instinctively picked up the items and put them on for the special diner, not realizing their actually Solomon Island outfits were neatly hanging in a closet in their room.

A source close to the couple says that the host of the diner party was not offended by the royal’s couple ‘honest’ mistake and that the evening turned out swell for everyone.
