Jenny McCarthy Wanted To Be A Nun

HOLLYWOOD – Former Playboy model Jenny McCarthy, grew up in a catholic environment and as a child she was seriously considering becoming a nun and offering up her life to God.

Actor Jim Carrey’s ex, claims this to be the case in her book “Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic”.

“I was taught that my life’s ambition should be to do good things so I would get to heaven,” the actress/model writes.

“As a child it was logical to me that I would become a nun. That way I would be able to get along with Jesus and his friends later on.”

McCarthy says she changed her mind of becoming a nun when she uncovered that catholic nuns aren’t allowed to have children.

“I knew in my soul that I wanted to go to heaven but more than that I wanted to become a mother,” McCarthy writes.

Jennifer (Jenny) McCarthy (39) has a 10 year old son she conceived while married to actor/director John Asher.

“Even though I didn’t become a nun and I’ve made a lot of mistakes, I’ve learned that you can fight for justice and truth without wearing a habit. I chose for a push-up bra. Some will condemn me for my bad habits, but I see myself as a student in this awful school we call live.”

Jennifer McCarthy began her career in acting and modeling as a Playboy model in 1993.
