Jay-Z Takes Subway To Concert

NEW YORK – New Yorkers taking the metro were given a nice surprise when rapper Jay-Z decided to take the train to his concert at the new Barclays Center.

Accompanied by undercover police dressed in civilian clothes and his own security posse, Jay-Z stepped on the metro without allegedly having to pay for the ride.

Cameras flashed everywhere and Jay-Z was cool enough to chat with fellow commuters. He particularly took time to talk for a while with a senior woman.

At the stadium, Jay-Z fans got their own surprise when suddenly Beyonce, the rapper’s wife, appeared on stage unannounced.

She and Jay-Z sang ‘Crazy In Love’ together.

The rapper is performing 8 concerts at the Barclays Center in New York.
