Lady Gaga Surprise Visit To Julian Assange

LONDON – Lady Gaga brought a surprise visit to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who has been hiding out at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

Assange has been hiding out at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since June in an effort to avoid being extradited to Sweden, where he is accused of sexual abuse.

Julian Assange fears Sweden will extradite him to the United States where he is accused of leaking secret government documents.

Lady Gaga was at Harold’s department store on Monday to promote her perfume line and impulsively decided to give the WikiLeaks founder a visit.

The Ecuadorian Embassy is located across the street from Harold’s.

The performer and the ‘informer’ seemed to get along well. Lady Gaga left five hours after she arrived at the embassy.
