Madonna In Desperate Need For Attention?

LOS ANGELES – During a performance in Los Angeles, Madonna treated her fans to a strip-show.

The 54 year old singer reportedly stripped in honor of the 14 year old Pakistani girl Malala, who was shot in the head by Taliban last week for standing up for girls’ rights to an education.

Personally, I can’t really connect the two: what does a strip-show have to do with a tribute to a 14 year old fighting for children’s rights?

Lately, Madonna has been showing more than just her singing talent during various performances around the world. Nudity and vulgarity have become part of the performer’s act.

When performing in Turkey in August, she stripped down as well, revealed her breasts and even went as far as simulating masturbation. Then she addressed the crowd saying “not something you haven’t seen before”.

The Los Angeles ‘peep show’ didn’t go that far but still … stripping in tribute to a 14 year old?

The recent strip shows Madonna (54) has been putting on lately seem to be more of a final attempt of desperately wanting the spotlight to shine on her once more before it dims completely.

She hasn’t kept it exactly a secret that she still considers herself to be the ‘number one’ female pop artist who can still out perform younger generation such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Britney Spears.

From all appearance, Madonna’s Los Angeles act was more of the once superstar going to extremes to get that much needed attention she obviously still craves so desperately than it was a tribute of any kind.
