Susan Sarandon Had Sex To Advance Career

HOLLYWOOD – Long time Hollywood icon, big screen and TV actress Susan Sarandon has taken the lid off a dark secret that she’d kept quiet until now.

She’s admitted that when she first started out in Hollywood, she had sex with a producer because he promised to advance her career.

‘Starting out’ actors and actresses giving ‘sexual favors’ to producers and directors to advance their careers, have always been rumored to take place in Hollywood’s inner circle.

The open admission of one of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses, emphasizes that the rumors are in fact a somber reality.

Sarandon (66) says the memory of what happened that day isn’t ‘fond’ at all.

“It was no success, not for him nor for me. I entered a room, he pretty much threw me on a desk. Boy I just barely gotten to New York. It was a horrible experience.”

The actress refuses to name the male aggressor though but says sexism in Hollywood is more common than believed.

Film director Barbara Stepansky was denied production of one movie because the male lead actor refused to ‘take orders’ from a woman.

And Danny DeVito who split from his wife just recently after 30 years of marriage, is according to an insider constantly ‘preying’ on young, naive, actresses looking for a break.

A crew member who doesn’t want to be identified says “Is was sad to watch. She was so young and pretty and she only had sex with him because he promised her he would make a star of her; exactly the kind of girl Danny was hunting for.”

Susan Sarandon wants to set the record straight however that she never took advantage of a young rising star, even though she’s known to date much younger men.

Her latest love relationship involves 35 year old Jonathan Bricklin.
