Van Halen Best Guitarist Of All Time

HOLLYWOOD – Rocker Eddie Van Halen has been nominated as the best guitarist of all times by Guitar World.

The Pasadena, California, idol who moved from the Netherlands to the US at the tender age of seven, beat Jimi Hendrix and other guitar virtuoso to the spot.

Eddie Van Halen started the famous Van Halen rock band in 1972. He jumped to fame with songs like ‘Jump’ and ‘Runnin’ With The Devil’. He played the guitar solo for Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’.

Earlier this year, the band released its 13th album.

Eddie Van Halen ranked 8th in Rolling Stone’s 2011 list of the Top 100 guitarists.
