Usher Pays $US12K For A Puppy

HOLLYWOOD – Singer Usher docked down $US12,000 for a puppy during a charity event in New York. The charity builds schools in Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.

Usher is now the proud owner of a ‘Goldendoodle’ a ‘purebred mix’ between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle.

Usher is been trying to get a puppy through the charity since last year but a family bit more than he did. As a consolation to the singer they named the puppy ‘Usher’.

The artist almost didn’t get the Goldendoodle this year either. Actress Jessica Szhor took up the bit against Usher and matched him dollar for dollar up to the sum of $US11,000. Szhor said “$US12,000 for a puppy is a bit much”.

Usher was trilled he won and threw his hands in the air from exhilaration. The puppy got quickly used to his new owner. When Usher left his table to give a speech, his newest family member began to cry.
